07WV: Planning: performs road transport planning.
You can explain the logistical impact on inventory management in function of the warehouse type.
Inventory management: manages inventory, tracks it, identifies (future) shortages and takes actions to have inventory replenished in a timely manner taking into account costs, delivery conditions, service levels and business goals, KPIs.
You can explain the logistical impact on inventory management in function of the warehouse type.
You can describe the techniques and processes pertaining to inventory and warehouse management on the basis of case studies and translate these into job instructions.
You can describe the more significant organisational aspects of a specific storage location.
You can master techniques linked to value added logistics.
Warehouse and material handling processes and resources: manages operational logistics warehouse and material handling processes and resources taking into account costs and agreed service level with the customer, this in line with business goals, KPIs and applicable laws and regulations and technical capabilities.
You are able to link the subsidiary processes to other business processes (e.g. production, inventory management, customs, transportation and security)
Administration: administratively processes the information flow associated with the warehouse processes.
