to be taken together with Technical Equipment 3 AND (previously registered for Mathematics 1 OR previously registered for real estate calculations).

Learning outcomes (list)

Interpret and apply job-related rules and regulations, relating, in particular to: civil and judicial law, building and real estate law, environmental law, town and country planning law, tax law, ... and to advise on these in a meaningful manner.
The student can comprehend the legislation on the common wall
The student can apply the legislation of the common wall on specific cases
Respect the relevant deontological codes, show responsibility and demonstrate a pronounced ethical, critical and deontological reflection regarding own actions and acts of others.
The student acts according to the code of ethics and can assess the liability of the expert and the consequences
Give specific advice and carry out expert assessments.
The student can give advice about the law concerning common wall
The student can describe the content and progress of various types of expertises
The student can define the different types of topographical surveys
The student can calculate a rental damage
The student can prepare an official report of the acquisition procedure of a (party) wall.

Communicate well and clearly in a commercial manner (including reporting) with (potential) customers and the ability to express themselves in a professional context in different languages.
