Learning outcomes (list)

BA3 - The student knows about and understands the social, cultural, artistic, historical and international context of the visual arts and artistic praxis, and continues to develop this knowledge and understanding.
The student is able to recognise the societal impact of the production process and justify it.
BA5 - When developing his/her personal visual language the students starts from a searching and reflective attitude when developing one's own visual language.
De student is able to carry out a thorough in-depth research and to convert the acquired information into his own theatrical concept.
The student has further developed the competences acquired in BA2
BA6 - The student understands the characteristics of his/her personal designs and/or realizations and is able to communicate about this in an appropriate manner.

De student bewijst met zijn eigen project of hij in staat is als kostuumontwerper, geheel persoonlijk een artistiek werk af te leveren en in staat is de stap te zetten naar een masteropleiding om daar vervolgens een master –project te ontwerpen en te formuleren en daarover te communiceren.

Course content

In costume design 3, the student's autonomy and flexibility are focused on. Social, organisational and practical skills are further developed. The designer is activated in practice by collaborating with various artistic parties including students in training and performers from the professional field of the performative arts.

Students 3Ba have a recognisable design style at the end of their bachelor's that is visible in their portfolio.
