Course content

In these practical classes, 2BA students will be exposed to hybrid collaboration, focusing on interacting with performers to create a dynamic and creative interaction. The classes will be intertwined with costume design 2 and costume design 2 classes and continue into the 2nd semester. The experiences gained during costume design 1 and design 1 lessons can be applied in a collaboration with various performers. Through fitting moments and during rehearsal, students learn to explore their costume in movement and in practice. Experiences from previous collaborative classes are incorporated into this. Verbal and visual communication is an important part of this. The students can subsequently apply and use these experiences from these lessons in various collaborations and internships, in their autonomous practice during the Master and later in the professional field.

Learning to assume an active role as designer
Improving communication skills
Sharing and interacting during the creative process
Awareness of own attitude and role as a designer in a creative process
