Learning outcomes (list)

The graduate is responsible for measuring, staking out and checking building dimensions with the correct measuring instruments.
The student calculates the measurements for different expanding methods.
The student makes the necessary mathematical calculations regarding trigonometry to process and interpret the terrain data and surveying techniques.
The student processes measurement data locally or in an imposed reference system.
The student connects a basis for a detailed measurement to an imposed reference system.
The student applies simple measurement methods in the field, using simple topographical measurement equipment.
The student describes the various commonly used measuring techniques, specific to the site dimensions, with an eye for accuracy and sources of error.
The student reflects critically on his measurement results.
The student defines the instrumental errors of surveying instruments.
The student eliminates the instrumental errors of surveying instruments with the appropriate measurement techniques/methods.
The student recognizes the markings.
The graduate acts on the basis of a solid general construction knowledge.
The student explains the anatomy, the general functioning and the use of the surveying instruments.
The student explains the surveying basic measurement techniques with their field of application.
The student names the basic concepts of topography.
