Learning outcomes (list)

BA1 - The student has the necessary artistic skills to design and/or realize a personal project within the broad spectrum of the visual arts under supervision.
BA2 - The student has the necessary knowledge, skills and insights regarding material, form, action, concepts, function and contents of the chosen medi
BA4 - The student develops and sharpens his/her critical and investigative attitude towards designs and/or realizations that arise from visual experiments and research, emotion and intuition.

Course content

BA2 encourages critical (self)reflection and experimentation. The student is guided in this through individual and group discussions. Thus, the student develops a language to formulate a question, articulate choices and communicate. In Ba2, the student develops his own perspective and deepens his knowledge of materials.

- The student is familiar with visual elements and can consciously use texture, structure, tonality and colour.
- Through experimentation, the student challenges the possibilities of material and technique and develops his own working process.
- The student adopts an inquisitive attitude and can learn from experience. The student uses different materials and techniques and consciously deploys these during the creative process.
- The student can formulate a question.
- The student can make connections.
- The student has self-organisational competences and can realise his work autonomously and work regularly out of his own ambition.
- The student actively participates in the workshop and cooperates constructively with fellow students from other years.
- The student engages in dialogue about process and work on his/her own initiative and on a regular basis.
- The student explores the rich diversity of the medium, from sketch and droedel to autonomous drawing.
