Short description

In this expert class, we take a step further into the world of 3D production where we delve both technically and creatively into more advanced use of Unreal for projects with promotional and/or communication purposes.

There are no prerequisites for this course.

Learning outcomes (list)

You consult various sources at design and technical level about Realtime 3D visualisation.
You apply your knowledge of the English language in a learning context, both orally and in writing.
You master the manipulation of light and shadow in real-time 3D in order to obtain a specific atmosphere.
You generate a creative design for a visualisation of a world according to a specific concept and style.
You apply different modelling techniques for a design in real-time 3D.
You apply different shading techniques (spline modelling, box modelling) for a design in Realtime 3D.
You have mastered camera work in Realtime 3D in order to render a certain storytelling in video.
You can devise and technically elaborate an interactive experience world in real-time 3D.

Course content

The Expert Class Realtime 3D Motion Graphics covers the following topics through lectures and exercises:

Techniques for modelling, lighting, shading, animations, camera use and lighting in Realtime 3D
Creating techniques for 3D assets to place in a real-time 3D world
Apply real-time 3D Motion graphics to create concepts to support the promotion of a particular brand or product (Product visualisation, Visual storytelling, Virtual Production,
Animations, setting up an interactive experience world/VR)
Adequate application for communicative or commercial purposes.

Prior knowledge of Cinema 4D is recommended for this OLOD.
