The student knows the different graphic printing techniques.
The student knows the basic concepts in typography, design, photography and colour.
The student knows the classification of the Letterclasificatie.
The student knows the nomenclature of typography.
The student knows colour application in printed work: colours, quadrichromie, spot colours.

Course content

Introduction to graphic techniques, photography and colour and colour modelling through exercises and theory. Research in and theory and application of colour and colour management. Graphic production and files. Graphic production tools and options. Development, use and application.

Powerpoint presentations and handouts available via Digitap. Presented examples of graphic realisations, printing techniques, finishing and realisation. Illustrated syllabus and didactic demonstration material, specific website links, company visit.
