Learning outcomes (list)

BA1 - The student has the necessary artistic skills to design and/or realize a personal project within the broad spectrum of the visual arts under supervision.
The student can translate all these aspects in an artistic way to a 2D carrier.
The student can translate his knowledge of layout and composition, perspective and proportions of a living model in space, to a 2D carrier in a personal, artistic way.
BA2 - The student has the necessary knowledge, skills and insights regarding material, form, action, concepts, function and contents of the chosen medi
The student knows and understands the various techniques of display, layout and composition, perspective and proportions, light and shadow, atmosphere and color application.
The student knows and understands the basic principles regarding layout and composition, perspective and proportions, of a live model in space.
BA5 - When developing his/her personal visual language the students starts from a searching and reflective attitude when developing one's own visual language.
The student can process comments from teachers in his learning process.

Course content

Seeing and perceiving analytically are linked to the research into interpretive rendering. Various methods and techniques are dealt with, taking into account the specificity of the study programme/option.

Continuous evaluation and presentation/verification moments during the academic year.
Semester 1: first intermediary evaluation at the end of the first semester.
