Students start from the beginning. Everything is taught during this course.

BA2 - The student has the necessary knowledge, skills and insights regarding material, form, action, concepts, function and contents of the chosen medi
The student knows the possibilities and main properties of ceramic clays.
The student knows the different construction techniques of the ceramic process.
The student knows the drying and firing process.

Course content

- The student learns to prepare the clay mass.

- The student learns a number of construction techniques

- Columbine technique

- Working with plates

- Working with the throwing wheel

- The student learns the basic principles of glazing.

- The student learns the steps of the drying process.

All these techniques are taught by means of various small exercises.
