Course content

Costume design 2 focuses on the costume in movement and connection. Using the moving body in space, the acquired competences of 1BA are explored. Students are encouraged to develop a voice based on their own vision of a given text (together with the course concept dramaturgy). As a critical and engaged designer, you learn to help define the vision and explore the power of collaboration. In 2BA, the skills acquired in 1BA are further explored and applied to a wide range of assignments for various theatrical forms (music theatre, youth theatre, historical costume, etc.) Within the assignments, cooperation is also sought with actors from the field or other art disciplines.
Students broaden their personal design style, conducting extensive research into content, materials and form.
