Learning outcomes (list)

BA1 - The student has the necessary artistic skills to design and/or realize a personal project within the broad spectrum of the visual arts under supervision.
The student can realise an art edition / portfolio / artist's book with a series of images.
The student is able to start the development of a personal visual language on the basis of observation exercises.
The student can realize a portfolio in which presentation, aesthetics, typography, content, concept and coherence are conceived and executed in a professional and individual way into a total project.
The student demonstrates passion and can independently carry out the given assignments and demonstrates.
BA7 - The student is able to organize his/her artistic project in consultation with others.
The student adheres to the set deadlines.

Course content

- Resaerching the meaning, symbolism and associations evoked by images and materials through various assignments and input.
- Developing an inquisitive and questioning attitude.
- Developing your own visual language through observational drawing.
- Looking for and archiving (artistic) sources of inspiration that refer to the assignments and personal interests.
- Developing a personal "visual language" through various drawing, assembly and sculptural techniques.
- The ability to apply and explain the acquired insights and techniques
