Learning outcomes (list)

BA1 - The student has the necessary artistic skills to design and/or realize a personal project within the broad spectrum of the visual arts under supervision.
The student can realise an art edition / portfolio / artist's book with a series of images.
The student is able to start the development of a personal visual language on the basis of observation exercises.
The student can realize a portfolio in which presentation, aesthetics, typography, content, concept and coherence are conceived and executed in a professional and individual way into a total project.
The student demonstrates passion and can independently carry out the given assignments and demonstrates.
BA7 - The student is able to organize his/her artistic project in consultation with others.
The student respects the deadlines and is able to finalise and present his work on time.

Course content

Deepening and further practising of the knowledge and skills acquired in the first year through various drawing and sculptural techniques. Visual communication in groups on the basis of changing assignments related to independent research and individual processing around various artistic practices and themes from the visual arts, costume, performance, ritual. Research and analysis of images, image composition and materials. Situation of the content of the assignments within the contemporary working field.

- drawing materials: sketchbook, charcoal, eraser, pencil, ink
- assembly material: scissors, glue, needle and thread
- camera or smartphone
- other specific materials linked to an assignment will be communicated in good time
