Course content

Material Knowledge provides an insight into the range of natural and synthetic raw materials and fibres, textile materials and weaving structures including finishing and processing. There is a focus on new developments such as sustainability and biodiversity that have a major impact both on the materials themselves and on the way materials are processed. We zoom in on the upcycling of textile materials, on new technologies and innovations, and on the future of materials - textile imaging.
