Course content

During this course, the practicalities involved in working as a costume designer in the TV and film industry are discussed. We start by dissecting a script by making a costume breakdown and then proceed to various parts such as communication through mood boards, budget, schedules, pulling from stocks, fittings as well as the patination of costumes within the film.

During each lesson, a different part is treated, both in the theory form and its concrete implication. At the end, students have all the tools they need to go through the entire creation and development process within the film.
