Course content

You participate in the structural consultation of the Student Council, where you represent the interests of your fellow students and contribute to policy-making on up-to-date and relevant art education. You keep track of needs and suggestions that live in the studio, and you inform students about decisions taken and ongoing processes. The Student Council is the official, democratically elected representative of the Academy's students, with communication and consultation lines to all studios, programmes and consultation forums in the house.

Furthermore, you commit to some activities of your choice by the Student Council or the Student Club:

The Student Council is responsible for the more formal, policy- and education-oriented activities such as reflection and input for the curriculum, guiding a buddy system for new students or acting as the Academy's ambassador during Open House. Members of the Student Council may also represent the Academy at student meetings of AP university college.

The student club facilitates all informal activities organised by students, such as parties, events, exhibitions, collaborative projects, the student publication Hapjes, WAV radio or Every Two Weeks.
