Course content

Read the vademecum Keyboard instruments.
The annual program will be determined in consultation with the main teacher.

* Mastery of harpsichord technique and sound shaping (including Schnellen)
* Practical style study of the complete repertoire
* Study of the different types of harpsichords
* Acquisition of tuning (theoretical and (especially) practical)
* Maintenance of the instrument
* Practical application of the knowledge from historical sources and treatises in order to arrive at a historically informed performance. This forms the student into an independent musician.
