Weytjens, S., Introduction to the music of the Romantic period.
Buckinx, B. and Y. Senden, The History of Music of the 20th Century.

Students may be required to attend performances as part of the Music History course.
Because of the uncertainty of whether or not certain performances will take place, these additional costs will be billed separately in May 2022 based on actual expenses.

Music students enrolled in the Music History 2 course unit will pay a maximum of an additional 40.00 euros for tickets to concerts or performances.

Evaluation (text)

- Knowledge test: written and/or oral examination at the end of the semester, or based on a paper. Semi-annual (40%) and annual exam (40%).
- Portfolio: the student writes a report of 5 of the concerts attended. Assessment of the concert reports is based on a portfolio, possibly with oral explanation (20%).
