Learning outcomes (list)

1.4 The student is musically creative.
The student masters basic scat syllables.
The student is capable of improvising on harmonically more advanced chord schemes.
2.2 The student makes progress through independent study.
The student can draw up an efficient study plan and follow it.
2.3 The student reads, analyses, writes and interprets music.
The student can analyse more complex vocal and instrumental solos.
The student can sing more advanced scores at sight and solo on them.
2.4 The student masters the correct playing techniques and postures.
The student has control of his or her intonation.
The student can perform pieces with uncommon time signatures and polyrhythms with good timing.
The student can sing bass notes and guide tone lines on harmonically more-advanced chord progressions.
The student can sing and implement complex licks.
The student can perform more complex technical studies (vocalises, etc).
The student can sing, where needed, patterns on backdoor 3-b3dim-2, turnarounds and other scales and progressions.
The student can play scales and arpeggios: mixolydian #11, melodic minor on 2m7b5 (with a major 9th) in all intervals and triads/four-note chords.
The student can make transcriptions of more complex vocal and instrumental solos by auditory assimilation and reproduction.
