Short description

In physical awareness, students explore ways to prepare themselves for a sustainable career. The body is the instrument, not only physically but also artistically.
Physical Awareness consists of four different modules: LAB, Anatomy of the voice, Condition and Resilient Artists.

In LAB (Physical Awareness = 30h), one's own relaxed-supportive posture is explored, in addition to discovering the body as an artistic presence in the theatrical space.

In Condition = 30h, students work on strengthening their own bodies under the guidance of a physiotherapist.

Resilient Artists = 12h consists of six two-hour sessions and includes a more theoretical part (3 sessions) and a practical application-oriented part (3 sessions) psycho-education to strengthen mental resilience.'

In Anatomy of the voice = 5h, students gain an understanding of the anatomical workings of the voice
