Students receive basic Practical Harmony training. Its content leans towards traditional aspects on the one hand: acquiring skills in playing basic chord progressions, harmonising melodies, theme with variations, simple transposition and improvisation. On the other hand, there remains room for a more integrated approach. A selection is made from the range of possible working methods (see Vademecum Algemene Muzikale Vorming).
