Learning outcomes (list)

This course includes the following learning objectives:
From observing, the student can specify the specific starting level of the pupils and the group and acknowledge its diversity. Can use his or her knowledge to list and explain the most important focus points for a specific starting level.
Using an observed lesson as the basis, he or she can specify the objectives of the lesson.
Can explain, through observation, the role that can be played within the learning environment of a school.
Can specify the various forms of evaluation using observation and can test the effectiveness of these against the objectives.
On the basis of observation and discussion, he or she can form an idea and strategy as to how to deal with pupils with healthcare issues.
Can specify various working methods and their characteristics. Using the characteristics, he or she can reflect on the observed working methods in terms of the objectives which are being aimed for.
Can express a personal opinion on current educational topics using examples.
Can express personal opinions on current educational topics using examples.
Can specify teaching approaches which are innovative and/or worthwhile for his or her own discipline and reflect on these in terms of his or her own teaching.
