Learning outcomes (list)

After expert preparation, the graduate independently carries out standardized electromechanical maintenance, adjustment and repair work in a familiar field and under the supervision of a supervisor.
The student analyses simple circuits with resistances, capacitors, coils, diodes and transistors.
The student describes the functioning of passive filter circuits.
The student applies boolean logic.
The student programmes an automation component through logic block functions.
The student controls the operation of a digital switch with simulation software
The student calculates and/or creates a graphical representation of the characteristics of an electronic filter consisting of resistors and capacitors.
The student calculates the gain and/or attenuation factor based on measurement results.
The student explains the function of a assembled digital circuit using a truth table and/or electronic schematic
The student explains the operation of basic and derived ports using a truth table and/or electronic schematic
The student explains the operation of voltage regulators and transistors.
The student explains the use of the transistor as a switch.
The graduate independently performs basic measurements and tests on a technical installation in a professional manner.
The student determines experimentally the characteristics of a passive filter.
The student executes measurements with electric measuring instruments and makes connections with regard to the functionality of the circuit.
The student performs measurements with an oscilloscope and interprets the obtained oscilloscope traces
The graduate reads and interprets instructions, drawings, diagrams, descriptions, nameplate data and explanatory notes in which technical information is consulted in one foreign language.
The student explains the functional operation of a circuit by using the correct technical jargon.
The student consults datasheets and/or characteristics of electronic components
The student explains the construction, properties and/or functioning of passive and active components.
The graduate works in a sustainable, socially responsible and high-quality manner and applies safety and technical standards in a familiar field.
The student works with high-tech devices in a professional manner.
The graduate localizes, identifies and diagnoses malfunctions of technical installations, taking into account situational elements and/or maintenance history
The student controls the correct operation of electrical switches
