Learning outcomes (list)

After expert preparation, the graduate independently carries out standardized electromechanical maintenance, adjustment and repair work in a familiar field and under the supervision of a supervisor.
The student demonstrates knowledge of post-processing and heat treatment techniques and understands how they can alter the mechanical properties of metals.
The student explains why thermosets, thermoplastics, and elastomers are used in various industrial applications based on their key properties.
The student understands the manufacturing, key properties, and applications of technical ceramics.
The student describes the use of composite materials in technical applications, understands how they are produced, and can identify the key factors that influence the performance of composites.
The student understands the material selection applied in a technical environment (metals, plastics, ceramics, and composites).
The student derives the mechanical material properties from the stress-strain curve.
The student discusses the importance of material testing for technical applications
The student justifies the use of adhesives and lubricants in industrial applications.
De student indentificeert de invloed van legeringselementen op metaaleigenschappen en het gebruik van specifieke legeringen in toepassingen.
The graduate works in a sustainable, socially responsible and high-quality manner and applies safety and technical standards in a familiar field.
The student adopts a professional attitude during contact moments with industry partners.
