Learning outcomes (list)
After expert preparation, the graduate independently carries out standardized electromechanical maintenance, adjustment and repair work in a familiar field and under the supervision of a supervisor.
The student identifies the main components of an LS cable by means of a picture/model and explains their mechanical and electrical properties.
The student describes the construction of an LS-cable by means of the cable names (XVB, XGB, XFVB,...).
The student explains the structure of an electricity network on the basis of a diagram.
The student distinguishes the different networks (TT, IT, TN) on the basis of a diagram and performs simple calculations to determine the protection against indirect contact.
The student justifies the different types of switches that are used in an electric installation.
The student explains the properties of ZAVD's.
The student explains the function of different tension levels in an electricity grid.
The student determines the current-carrying capacity of a cable on the basis of environmental conditions.
The student executes a simple cable calculation.
The graduate works in a sustainable, socially responsible and high-quality manner and applies safety and technical standards in a familiar field.
The student explains the function of the various safety devices used in an electrical installation.
The student lists the different protection measures (active and passive) that are found in an electrical installation and identifies them in a working environment.
The student identifies the external influences to determine the degree of protection of electric materials.
The student explains the connection between dangers linked to the use of electricity and external influences / circumstances.
