The qualified maintenance technician checks and examines with the necessary insight the functioning of technical installations on the basis of current measurement and analysis techniques.
The student assesses typical measurement errors and knows how to correct them.

The qualified maintenance technician carries out self-proposed interventions regarding maintenance-technical aspects, based on measurement results and available data, under the supervision of a supervisor.
The student makes a suggestion on the preventative interventions to be done.
The student chooses appropriate maintenance measurements in function of the application.
The student recognizes specific failure and wear phenomena based on the measurement results.
The student distinguishes different tribological problems.
