Learning outcomes (list)

The associate performs basic electrical, thermodynamic, hydraulic and aerological measurements and tests.
The student substantiates the procedure for measurement of sound levels in air conditioning systems.
The associate reads and interprets electrical, thermodynamic, hydraulic and aerological as well as simple P&ID (Piping and Instrumentation Diagram) schemes and drawings and consults technical information, also in at least one foreign language.
The student applies the EPB (Energy performance and Indoor climate) in residential and non-residential environments.
The associate works in a socially responsible, sustainable and qualitative way and applies safety guidelines and regulations in the domain of HVAC systems.
The student describes the PMV and the PPD index.
The student gives an overview of solutions to lower the sound power level or the vibration level of the source.
The associate advises and informs users, and proposes improvements regarding use and function.
The student reports solutions for moisture problems.
The student indicates the limits of comfort demands of end users for buildings,
The student explains the operative temperature.
The student explains the importance of cleaning and inspection of air channels.
The student explains the importance of airtightness and ventilation.
The associate reports his activities efficiently to colleagues and superiors with an eye to the follow-up.
The student assesses heat loss in existing buildings using infrared images.
