Learning outcomes (list)

The associate performs basic electrical, thermodynamic, hydraulic and aerological measurements and tests.
The student sets up an electric diagram by means of an assignment with the accurate choice of components.
The associate reads and interprets electrical, thermodynamic, hydraulic and aerological as well as simple P&ID (Piping and Instrumentation Diagram) schemes and drawings and consults technical information, also in at least one foreign language.
The student recognizes and correctly uses graphic symbols.
The student analyses the functionality of a complex industrial outline.
The student analyses simple diagrams according to the Eplan standards.
The student recognizes the used security, earthing and power equipment.
The student dissects an industrial scheme in function of the equipment specifications chosen by the designer.
The student recognizes the applied network.
The associate works in a socially responsible, sustainable and qualitative way and applies safety guidelines and regulations in the domain of HVAC systems.
The student retrieves the necessary information from a diagram within a given time frame to perform a repair.
The associate advises and informs users, and proposes improvements regarding use and function.
The student substantiates the choice of replacement parts at the reparations using catalogues, according to the rules of good workmanship.
The student correctly applies library elements in a drawing.
