Learning outcomes (list)

The associate performs basic electrical, thermodynamic, hydraulic and aerological measurements and tests.
The student executes measurements on direct current motors.
The student executes tests on DC motors.
The student executes tests on asynchronous motors.
The student tests the elementary working of a generator.
The student examines the operation and properties of a DC motor
The student explains the operation of electronic switches in a typical application.
The student explains the purpose and operation of one or more starting methods for starting an asynchronous motor
The student identifies the structure and the various parts of a positioning system.
The student distinguishes the construction and characteristics of some uncontrolled and controlled rectifiers.
The student describes the construction and behaviour of a synchronous and/or asynchronous machine in the context of identification and use of this machines.
The associate works in a socially responsible, sustainable and qualitative way and applies safety guidelines and regulations in the domain of HVAC systems.
The student describes the properties of a frequency convertor within the framework of its fundamental operation
The student works on group assignments in a professional manner.
The associate performs - independently and under supervision - the installation, activation and adjustment of climatisation systems in the domain of HVAC systems in a residential and non-residential context.
The student sets parameters in a frequency converter.
The student connects a frequency converter.
