Learning outcomes (list)

The associate performs basic electrical, thermodynamic, hydraulic and aerological measurements and tests.
The student formulates, by using a case, a control loop schematically and explains the functioning.
The associate reads and interprets electrical, thermodynamic, hydraulic and aerological as well as simple P&ID (Piping and Instrumentation Diagram) schemes and drawings and consults technical information, also in at least one foreign language.
The student analyses and interprets P&ID diagrams in function of the functional adjustment of the process.
The student analyses and interprets P&ID diagrams in function of the execution of maintenance tasks.
The student analyses and interprets P&ID diagrams in function of the recognition of safety risks.
The associate performs - independently and under supervision - the installation, activation and adjustment of climatisation systems in the domain of HVAC systems in a residential and non-residential context.
The student uses terminology of measuring and control functionally correct in cases in practice.
The student recognizes relevant process properties using taken diagrams, on which a PID-regulator can be established so the process reacts stable.
The student formulates qualitatively correct substitute parts in function of fabric manuals (at least in one foreign language) .
De student analyseert regeltechnisch een technisch proces.
The student formulates control engineering improvement suggestions based on an analysis of a technical process.
