having finished at least 35 ects credits in the programme AND (to be taken together with Professional skills AND to be taken together with Communication Skills) OR (previously registered for Professional skills AND previously registered for Communication Skills).
Re-sit exam: not possible.
Possibility of tolerance: You have to pass this course unit (will never be tolerated).

Learning outcomes (list)

The associate advises and informs users, and proposes improvements regarding use and function.
The student presents the program of requirements using various communication techniques.
The student drafts a specific program of requirements for the project.
The associate gives instructions to some co-workers regarding specific activities respecting safety, works constructively and flexibly in a team when planning and executing approved alterations and takes responsibility.
The student works constructively in a team and takes on different roles (site planner, researcher, refrigeration technician, etc.).
The student critically explains the assignment, taking into account the project plan and the established deadlines.
The student evaluates the technical feasibility of the assignment as a team.
The associate maintains his skill level by keeping up-to-date with technological developments and is self-critical.
The student informes themself independently using (foreign) scientific relevant literature considering an efficient approach of the project.

The student predicts, using the developed project plan, possible disturbances.
The student performs correct (dis)assembly on an HVAC-installation and selects the appropriate tools for this purpose.
The associate takes into account specific risks of dangerous products and circumstances inherent to the field of climatisation and acts accordingly.
The student can evaluate a complex problem, apart from its technical functionality, in terms of investment budget, energy efficiency, and safety for humans, animals, and the environment.
