The associate applies the appropriate marketing and/or communication techniques to support the marketing and/or communication activities.
The student dissects the various objectives of marketing communications (focusing on knowledge, attitude, behavior) 
The student will describe the difference between the concepts of target audience and communication target audience 
The student will distinguish the different forms that are part of marketing communications 
The student explains the difference between marketing and marketing communications 
The student lists the elements necessary for a successful advertising message 
The student will name the components of a marketing communications plan 
The student distinguishes the different forms of store communication (both for the physical store and for the web shop) 
The associate relies on his/her own creativity, social awareness and responsibility when maintaining a problem solving and target group focus.
The student will infer the different goals and target audiences of advertising, public relations, direct marketing, and personal 
The associate takes initiative with respect to permanent education and improvement of his/her performance and the functioning of the organisation.
