The associate applies the appropriate marketing and/or communication techniques to support the marketing and/or communication activities.
The student will explain in their own words the various functions of mass media
The student will explain the main tasks of a media agency 
The associate uses analytics in measuring and interpreting the impact of a message.
The student interprets media figures 
The student correctly interprets the concepts of reach, coverage, and cost with respect to advertising and promotions 
The associate relies on his/her own creativity, social awareness and responsibility when maintaining a problem solving and target group focus.
The student will name the social and technological developments with impact on the media market 
The associate contributes to the business and organisational goals by initiating and conducting marketing and/or communication activities.
The student will outline the media landscape (media companies and players surrounding these media companies) 
The student will illustrate how media are controlled and managed 
The student compares the different types of media based on their strengths and weaknesses 
The student outlines media concentration in Belgium 
The student will give an overview of the main actors in media planning 
The student will explain how media space is commercialized
