You consult relevant databases and information sources, and accurately classify goods based on the obtained commodity knowledge, knowledge of goods nomenclatures, and understanding of the customs tariff.

You can collect data, under the supervision of a teaching supervisor
You can obtain information on clearances and problems surrounding clearances
You are responsible for preparing, collecting, submitting, and processing customs declarations.
You can prepare customs declarations, collect required documents, submit, process and follow up on declarations
The student can, in collaboration with colleagues/leadership, handle dispute files
You can provide assistance in the application of various documents of (inter)national trade in the context of declaration, inspection,... of goods
You can ensure the proper application of customs procedures
