You apply general theoretical logistical knowledge, analyze basic logistical processes and techniques, and assess the impact of the supply chain.
You can link the organisation of the supply chain to the different international players and your knowledge of geography.
You execute the plans of your supervisor, create a schedule for your own work, and adjust it as necessary.
You can apply the most recent EU-customs applications when drawing up trade and customs related documents.
You can check customs declarations for accuracy and completeness.
You can consult specialised documentation and information when answering to customs related technical issues within your sphere of responsibility.
You carry out your tasks in compliance with the applicable laws, regulations, and procedures.
You can assign the most appropriate Incoterm in specific cases.
You inform and advise on the formalities related to international trade transactions based on an understanding of international trade techniques.
You can open a (digital) file: collecting, controlling and supplying information to the customs department in accordance with established customs procedures.
You can assess a transaction for compliance with (inter)national laws and regulations.
You have a basic understanding of the trade and customs policies of the European Union and keep up with recent developments.
You can consult specialised documentation and information when answering to customs related technical issues within your sphere of responsibility.
You consult relevant databases and information sources, and accurately classify goods based on the obtained commodity knowledge, knowledge of goods nomenclatures, and understanding of the customs tariff.
