The graduate systematically checks the quality of the supplied materials and of the execution of the construction works and calls on third parties where necessary.
The student indicates the correct location of the through wall flashing in a cavity wall on a detail and names this to avoid damage.
The student indicates construction nodes on a plan and section of a building.
The student uses the prevailing standards, applications and recommendations with regard to construction works (Buildwise).
The graduate carries out on a daily basis the site administration that falls under the assigned responsibility and ensures the information flow at site level.
The student names the tasks of the various parties involved in a construction process.
The graduate acts on the basis of a thorough structural knowledge of buildings.
The student explains the points for attention with regard to the proper execution of underground construction works.
The student independently calculates the amounts of excavation works of a construction pit.
The student explains the different methods of dewatering.
The student applies the different methods of rainwater infiltration to a construction project.
The student names the structure of a cavity wall, including the correct structure, approach, parts and type details.
