Evaluation (text)

The student is a member of a team. The team is evaluated through three presentations during which the team reports on one of the three events the team needs to organize during the semester. Based on the quality, completeness and clarity of the presentation, the amount and broadness of the announcement of the event, the event itself and the feedback it received combined with feedback from the other students in the EPS group a score is generated.
The personal score of the student might be lower or higher than the team score based on the involvement of the student.

If the student cannot attend one of the activities, the teacher should be informed in advance by email. In case this happens more than once during the semester, the student will have to provide the course coordinator with (a) medical certificate(s) in order to still be able to pass for the process evaluation.

If a student doesn’t pass for the course ‘Cross-cultural exploration’, a 2nd examination period can be offered in which the student will be asked to write a reflection paper of +- 4000 words (100%). Therefor the student will contact the course coordinator before June 28 by email and ask him to organize a 2nd evaluation period. The course coordinator will provide the student with a relevant topic for the paper. The student will send the paper of +- 4000 words to hiram.bollaert@ap.be. Deadline: August 31.
