Short description

The student receives weekly individual lessons from the teacher where improvements take place from independently completed exercises or style compositions.

The student independently realizes stylistic compositions in a creative and original manner with attention to stylistics, phrasing, specific techniques and a musical narrative.

2.1
The student applies techniques from the 20th and 21st centuries in short style compositions.

The student analyzes music from the early 20th century and incorporates conclusions from it into short style compositions.

4.3
Students reflect on themselves and address specific deficits or gaps by commenting on individual assignments and style compositions in a portfolio.

previously registered for Harmony and Counterpoint - major 4.

Learning outcomes (list)

1.4 The student makes music in an artistic project in a creative manner.
The student independently realises complex contrapuntal exercises in a creative, personal and original manner, taking into account stylistic matters, phrasing, technique and musicality.
2.1 The student has thoroughly mastered musical parameters and structures.
The student further expands his or her previously-acquired knowledge and understanding of counterpoint and can apply this knowledge: 1. students of Instrument/Voice, Conducting and Music Pedagogy: COUNTERPOINT three- or four-voice fugue test, HARMONY thre
2.3 The student can process musical structures through analysis and interpretation.
The student deepens his or her personal musical understanding of complex scores by composing counterpoint him- or herself.

The student can reflect on him- or herself and can eliminate specific shortcomings or deficiencies by individual assignments and the systematic completion of exercises.
