Supplemented with a selection from the following:

- rehearsals with piano accompaniment
- participation in masterclasses, lectures and lecture-recitals
- participation in student concerts
- participation in projects organised by the Conservatoire
- concert attendance

Prerequisite competencies (text)

Successful passing of the entrance exam. At the entrance exam, the student must demonstrate that he/she possesses the correct pre-requisites. See the details of the entrance exam on the website.

Learning outcomes (list)

1.2 The student masters the internationally used stylistic performance practice standards.
The student can sing in various styles and applies the correct vocal technique in order to give expression to these styles in a musically responsible manner.
2.2 The student builds up expertise through organisation and independent study.

The student applies a targeted study method.
4.1 The student has extensive knowledge of the broader cultural and (musical) historical context and can use this in his or her artistic practice.
The student listens to and recognises music material that is specified as a reference by the teacher.

The student must demonstrate that he/she is at the same level as students taking the course units Instrument or Voice. However, the duration of the exam is 2/3 that of the duration requirements for Instrument or Voice.
