Course content

Read the Vademecum.
The student will be engaged as an accompanist in various instrument and voice classes and will have the opportunity to set his/her priorities in doing so.

Components (not exhaustive) : selection from

- accompaniment of instrument classes (choice in consultation with the student)
- accompaniment of singers in opera class and oratorio class
- accompaniment of singing classes, especially in collective lessons
- accompaniment of opera projects
- accompaniment of choral projects
- accompaniment of annual exams
- accompaniment of internal audition training
- accompaniment dance and ballet classes and dance projects.

The student supports the soloist in performing (mainly reductions of) original scores, and is available for rehearsals and lessons, master classes, performance occasions, concerts,...

Scores of the repertoire to be accompanied.

The scores are provided by the principal study teacher whose class you are accompanying.

Relevant literature will be provided by the accompanying teacher and can usually be consulted in public libraries. If not, this material must be purchased by the student.
