OLR AF 1.0 - The bachelor BM/AF has insights in fiscal, parafiscal, legal and accountancy rules and processes, in general corporate organisational processes as well as in their interconnection, and can consequently apply these insights in a broad, globalised and changing (inter)national context.
You display the annual accounting cycle, from the opening balance sheet to the closing of the financial year and the filing of the annual accounts.
You calculate a simple income tax.
You explain the tax systems for companies, individuals and the government alike.
You calculate simple financial ratios.
You sum up the various components of the annual account.
You make a link between the balance sheet, the cash flows and the profit and loss account.
You explain the relationships between the employee, the employer, social security and the tax authorities.
You perform a simple payroll calculation.

You explain the role that logistics and Supply Chain Management play in business processes.

You describe the history and importance of logistics in the globalizing world.

You will explain how the mission, market definition and objectives are defined in strategic business planning and how this forms the starting point for the steps within marketing planning.
