Learning outcomes (list)

OLR AF 1.0 - The bachelor BM/AF has insights in fiscal, parafiscal, legal and accountancy rules and processes, in general corporate organisational processes as well as in their interconnection, and can consequently apply these insights in a broad, globalised and changing (inter)national context.
You will describe the importance of budgeting in the strategic organization of a company.
You will prepare the different types of budgets according to the different budgeting techniques and in accordance with the legal requirements and/or standards.
You coordinate budgets with each other.
You control the prepared budgets based on management reporting.
You formulate an opinion on the profitability of an investment taking into account the financing needs in the different phases of the company.
You budget the financing needs of a business in its various phases and components.
You describe the importance of management accounting in the strategic organisation of a company.
OLR AF 2.0 - The bachelor BM/AF recognises opportunities, sets operational goals and proactively participates in reaching the (strategic) goals of a company or organisation.
You draw up financial planning according to the various techniques seen and in accordance with legal requirements and/or standards.
OLR AF 3.1 - The bachelor BM/AF possesses an entrepreneurial attitude (taking initiative, assessing risks, developing ideas) and can translate this in independent entrepreneurship.
You coordinate financial planning and align objectives with the various processes in an organisation (purchasing, sales, production, services, etc.).
OLR AF 3.2 - The bachelor BM/AF works independently, planned, flexibly and accurately and has a problem-solving and innovative approach to optimising fiscal, parafiscal, legal and accountancy rules and processes.
You plan the financing needs of a company in its various phases and components.
OLR AF 5.2 - The bachelor BM/AF makes efficient and effective use of accounting software and digital tools to support stakeholders.
You will use specific software and ICT applications in the preparation of budgets.
You use specific software and ICT tools, applicable in the management accounting of an organisation.
