Learning outcomes (list)

OLR SCM 1.0 - The bachelor BM/SCM has insights in transport, in the streams and processes of goods and information, in the regulations of the logistics sector and in the general corporate organisational processes as well as in their interconnection, and can consequently apply these insights in a broad, globalised and changing (inter)national context.
You will administratively process the flow of information associated with the international transportation of goods.
You will handle customs technical files with support.
You prepare customs declarations.
You use the calculation rules of indirect taxes relevant to customs.
You explain the procedures and conditions for applying for a permit/certificate.
You consult the Community Customs Code.
You understand the formalities related to the (inter)national movement of goods (legal provisions on customs, excise, VAT, import duties, taxes, guarantees, etc.).
You will assist in the application of various documents of international trade in the context of declaration, inspection, etc. of goods.
You check the completeness of a customs declaration.
You will define basic concepts related to legal procedures on customs, excise and VAT.
OLR SCM 10.0 - The bachelor BM/SCM regulates his personal professional development, independently monitors (inter)national trends and consequently integrates the resulting insights.
You have a basic understanding of the European Union's trade and customs policies and follow up on recent developments.
