Learning outcomes (list)

OLR SCM 1.0 - The bachelor BM/SCM has insights in transport, in the streams and processes of goods and information, in the regulations of the logistics sector and in the general corporate organisational processes as well as in their interconnection, and can consequently apply these insights in a broad, globalised and changing (inter)national context.
You apply the hygiene regulations related to the various goods in function of transport and storage.
You have an eye for all aspects of safety and hygiene.
You consult the appropriate sources in connection with the ever-evolving legislation.
You name the different safety measures for the different modes of transport.
You reflect on the competence acquisition related to safety in the workplace.
You define basic concepts related to commodity knowledge.
You will monitor IMDG and ADR regulations regarding the handling, storage and transportation of dangerous goods when making decisions regarding transportation.
You advise the client on the handling, storage and transportation of dangerous goods in accordance with international regulations
You apply the port regulations dangerous goods in Antwerp.
You know the role and responsibilities of the safety advisor.
You describe the role of the Federal Food Safety Agency (FASFC) in the import/export of food products.
You will prepare an HACCP file for a company as required by law.
You identify risk factors for safety at work.
