Learning outcomes (list)

You have insight into the social context in which communication takes place, can assess the social and legal implications of communication forms and expressions and act in accordance with professional ethics.
You'll estimate the social impact of communication interventions and explain complex media effects.
You search through an appropriate search strategy and in relevant information sources for information regarding a communication topic or (self) formulated communication problem. You estimate the value of the found information, analyse it critically and present the core in a meaningful way for the purpose of communication advice.
You analyse the marketing communication policy of a brand.
You'll analyze the customer journey and examine how a brand responds to it.
You formulate a communication problem autonomously and participate in initiating, planning and carrying out applied research around communicators, channels, messages or receivers, starting from a defined assignment. You report on this to colleagues and lay people.
You will participate in the execution of a simple applied communication research and help to correctly display and interpret research results.
You express yourself correctly in Dutch and deal with the Dutch language in a targeted way.
You'll give a goal-oriented informative presentation in correct Dutch.
You build up and maintain professional internal and external contacts. You use the appropriate language, attitude and manners.
You'll make informal as well as formal contacts in appropriate language and manners.
You will independently develop an integrated communication plan for profit and social profit and for private and government organisations on the basis of research results obtained. This includes naming and classifying objectives, target groups and public groups, working out a strategy and choosing and creatively realising appropriate means of communication.
You'll formulate communication recommendations based on an analysis of a brand's communication plan.
You test a client's question and translate it into a communication project. You organize this project efficiently and manage employees and suppliers.
You'll draw up a project plan (incl SMART objectives, GANT chart, WBS, Risk analysis, cooperation contract) and use it as a basis for organizing a group work.
You follow up communication projects accurately and with the necessary care in terms of administration and budget.
You'll analyze the media investments of a brand and its competitors.
You'll prepare a budget plan.
You function as an efficient member of a (multidisciplinary) team and are critical for your own work and that of others. You give your opinion and point of view with respect for others. You have an insight into your own role within the organisation and adapt when necessary.
You'll reflect on the cooperation process and adjust it.
