Short description

'Artist in Society' provides a framework for the (performing) artist who wants to consciously position themselves IN society. From both contemplative and practical-artistic perspectives, students are given the opportunity to become sensitive to the complexity of the social context. They learn ways to relate to that complexity through their artistic practice, and to engage in dialogue with social actors. Students are challenged to gain inspiration and experiences in the field, and to shape them in a creative reflective way.
