Learning outcomes (list)

EM01: know-how / expertise
The student can analyse an assignment, divide it into various parts and combine them to create a solution that complies with the objectives of the assignment.
The student can consult technical local information, including in a foreign language, aiming to learn from it while executing the task, at least in the following manner: manuals and parts lists from manufacturers in English or in the manufacturer's language.
The student can consult technical local information, including in a foreign language, aiming to learn from it while executing the task, at least in the following manner: communicates orally and in writing with the manufacturer or supplier where possible.
EM02: Installation
The student can work out a complex assignment self-sufficiently and can ensure its operation by means of tests.
EM03: Quality and Society
The student is able to perform complex technical research in accordance with prevailing rules and regulations.
EM04: Analysis and substantiating
The student is able to solve practical problems conceptually (=checking with scientific theories).
The student can analyze questions, assignments, problems and malfunctions for the execution of preventive and corrective interventions in a complex and unfamiliar environment: taking into account situational factors such as commisioning of systems, production changes, and maintenance history.
The student can conduct thorough data collection through inquiry, measurements, and consulting technical sources (diagrams, drawings, catalogs, etc.) for the execution of preventive and corrective interventions in a complex and unfamiliar environment: taking into account situational factors such as commisioning of systems, production changes, and maintenance history.
The student can estimate the scope and duration of preventive and corrective interventions in a complex and unfamiliar environment: taking into account situational factors such as commisioning of systems, production changes, and maintenance history.
The student can creatively and flexibly ascertain whether all tasks can be carried out in accordance with the technical plans and agreements for the execution of preventive and corrective interventions in a complex and unfamiliar environment: taking into account situational factors such as commisioning of systems, production changes, and maintenance history.
The student can consult with supervisors, users, manufacturers, suppliers and other stakeholders for the execution of preventive and corrective interventions in a complex and unfamiliar environment: taking into account situational factors such as commisioning of systems, production changes, and maintenance history.
