Learning outcomes (list)

EM01: know-how / expertise
The student can programme and test binary instructions and portals.
The student can motivate the choice of LED, basics, operands, addressing, tags, basic instructions (bit level) and system variables within an individual PLC applications/ assignment.
The student can use an operation manual to start and stop a system and programme it using logical instruction codes.
The student can combine PLC comparison and adaptation instructions, timers and counters into a functional system.
The student can explain and apply the basic instructions and principles for the set up of a PLC programme.
The student can name and explain the qualities and applications of a PLC in industrial installations and processes.
The student can name and explain PLC-automation definitions.
The student can create, download and upload files to the PLC using the didactic panel and applicable software.
EM02: Installation
The student can debug machine failures after analysing the machine's operation.
The student can apply appropriate wiring to the didactic panel using a functional description
The student understands the basic principles of a safety relay and can apply wiring to obtain the required safety function.
EM04: Analysis and substantiating
The student can analyze solution-oriented automation problems and change them into a software programme using binary logics, timers, counters, comparison instructions and mathematical instructions.
EM06: founded choices
The student can look up and select hardware components and apply them in a project.
EM11: personal growth
The students works in a professional manner on an industrial installation
