Learning outcomes (list)

EM01: know-how / expertise
The student can dimension axis-hub connections using the given allowed voltages and select a suitable coupling for a direct drive.
The student is able to apply his/her competences in order to solve an assignment within a given time limit.
The student consults local technical information, also in foreign languages, in order to learn how to execute an assignment. This information can consist (minimum) of manuals and producer's spare parts lists in English, French or German or in the producer's language.
EM04: Analysis and substantiating
The student can separate a multi-disciplinary assignment into partial assignments and transform them into a technical design document.
EM05: design
The student is able to apply relevant software to solve a specific assignment.
The student can create mechanical-design and construction drawings.
EM06: founded choices
The student can look up relevant information, through use of different sources.
EM08: planning and undertaking/entrepreneurship
The student can make adjustments on a technical and organizational level when required.
EM17: OHT Engineering
The student is able to draw up technical documents with detailed design specifications.
