CONCEPT CHOICE
The student can make a correct selection of a type differential circuit breaker.
DESIGN
The student is able to determine the capabilities and limitations of the various controls.
INSTALLATION
The student is able to read and understand plans and schedules.
The student is able to recognize different types of controls.
The student can independently build simple electrical circuit diagrams and solve possible problems (malfunctions) by means logic thinking.
The student can link electronic motor controls (DC and AC) to the right engines.
OPERATION
The student is able to distinguish and measure the constituent parts of a motor (control).
The student is able to integrate the different electrical measuring devices in electrical installations.
The student is able to adjust, start up and engage various types of electrical machines.
The student is able to finetune, test, start up and engage installations / machinery, or parts thereof, after maintenance activities.
The student can analyse a machine in an existing or new installation based on simple measurements using simple measuring devices.
IMPROVING
The student is able to recognize and improve the asymmetry of a three-phase star and / or delta load.
The student is able to measure and improve the power factor of an installation.
The student is able to, by making use of the state of technique, collect, visualize, monitor and keep a plurality of data and parameters, with the intention of making them useful for the process owners / process engineers.
The student can interpret and analyse test results.
